The
Ultimate Fighting Championship awarded four fighters
performance bonuses on the
UFC Fight Night 222 card.

Main event winner Sergei Pavlovish took home $50,000 extra on top
of his purse for knocking out Curtis
Blaydes in under a round. The Russian made easy work of
Blaydes, who was unable to
withstand the punishment that Pavlovich dished out. The TKO win
came at 3:08 of the first frame.

Three other performance of the night bonuses went to other fighters
that impressed with their finishing prowess. Bruno
Silva‘s impressive win over Brad
Tavares had
a mildly controversial stoppage over whether it was early or
not, but his knee and follow-up punch secured the Brazilian a
bonus. Additionally, Christos
Giagos‘
impressive knockout win and Montel
Jackson‘s
thrashing of Rani Yahya
earned each fighter 50 grand as well.
