The preliminary card for
Bellator 298 is filling out, as the promotion announced a slew
of new bouts for the Aug. 11 card.
In addition to confirming a previously reported matchup between
James
Gallagher and James
Gonzalez, the following seven contests were also confirmed in a
release on Tuesday: Enrique

Magomedov at featherweight; Imamshafi
Aliev vs. Anthony
Adams at middleweight; Sullivan
Cauley vs. Cedric
Terrell Savage at light heavyweight; Bryce
Meredith vs. Alberto
Rodriguez at bantamweight; Alfie Davis
vs. Aalon Cruz
at lightweight and Khalid
Murtazaliev vs. Mike
Shipman at middleweight.
According to the bout listing provided in the release, Bellator 298
currently features a grand total of 19 fights: four on the main
card and 15 on the prelims.
Bellator 298 takes place at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls,
South Dakota and is headlined by a welterweight clash pitting
former interim champ Logan
Storley against Brennan
Ward. The main card airs on Showtime at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT,
while the prelims stream on the Bellator MMA YouTube channel, the
Showtime Sports YouTube channel and Pluto TV at 5:30 p.m. ET/2:30
p.m. PT.
